Koili Point Malihini Reviews

In 2015, we had started planting a couple of trees after we were able to get someone with a tractor to cut the tall elephant grass that covered the whole property.

We cut the top half of the property as we envisioned that being an orchard of sorts. Starting with the starfruit tree you see closest to the camera.

And you will also see the Tahitian Gardenia that we blogged about previously. Looking to the right of the picture, you will see the little lean-to with 55 gallon bins. We funneled rainwater off the lean-to tarp into the containers and then scooped that into empty gallon milk cartons to hand water all trees we planted from 2015 to 2018.

We have come along way since this time and it has a lot to do with guests taking time out of their schedules to review us after having stayed with us.

While we had primarily listed exclusively through Airbnb platform, we now are also listed on TripAdvisor and through this website. If you have stayed with us for any length of time, and you have a few minutes, we would love it if you were able to review us on TripAdvisor.

We also know that word of mouth is probably one of the more popular ways new guests hear about Koili Point so thank you!

Finally, let me leave you with a Hawaiian word of the day: Malihini -- which translates to "guest."
