Koili Point Farm Crew

Len — Farm Owner

Len fell for the Hāmākua Coast long before Koili Point became home. Today he stewards the orchard, champions off-grid living, and welcomes guests like old friends. Equal parts host and dreamer, he’s always hatching the next fun idea—alongside a farm tour that feels personal, playful, and deeply rooted in place.

Lyman — Land Manager

“Get ‘er done” is more than a motto for Lyman—it’s how Koili Point keeps thriving. For a decade he’s been the quiet heartbeat of the land, tending trees, fixing what needs fixing, and greeting guests with practical know-how. If something runs smoothly here, chances are Lyman had a hand in it.

Hope — Project Manager

On island since 2011, Hope connects people, projects, and ‘āina with care. She keeps tours humming, coordinates improvements around the property, and loves sharing the history and culture that make this coast special. When you feel everything “just works,” that’s Hope—thoughtfully creating space for guests to learn, relax, and belong.

Abraham — Tour Host

Born and raised in Pāpa‘ikou, Abraham carries generations of plantation-era stories from his Portuguese Azorean roots. He weaves myth, history, and curious “how did you know that?” facts into every walk through the orchard. Expect a lively, lore-filled tour where small details reveal the island’s bigger story.
